5 Minarets in New York or New York'ta 5 Minare in Turkish, was a really good movie. I don't usually like watching Turkish movies but this is the third one I've seen and I enjoyed it.
The scenes that were taken in Turkey were in Turkish and the ones taken in NY were in English, English scenes were subtitles, Turkish scenes were not. This sucks because some of the Turkish accents were reall difficult to understand and I went with a foreign friend and I felt bad because I wasn't able to translate properly!! :(
Anyway, it's about Turkey and terrorism. Some critics (my friend and sister) say it's actually based on a guy who controls terrorism in Turkey, or something like that. I didn't really understand them, and they confused me even more :/
